Overview
All students are automatically assigned to the quarterly housing payment schedule. If you would prefer to pay monthly or pay in full, you may request an installment plan change by submitting the an Installment Plan Change Request linked below.

- Log-In to the Housing Portal
- Select 20XX-XX UG Contracts & Cancellations
- Select 20XX-XX Update Installment Plan
- Choose one of three plan from the drop down menu (monthly, quarterly or pay in full)
- Indicate if you are an EAP (Education Abroad Program) student and specify which quarter(s) you will be enrolled at UCSD.
Once submitted, your request will be reviewed by Housing Administrative Services. You will receive a notification once your request has been reviewed and processed.
Critical Concepts
- Students receiving financial aid or the California Higher Education Housing Grant are not eligible to change their housing installment plan.
- Plan changes are not guaranteed and are subject to approval by Housing Administrative Services.
- You must submit a new request each time if you wish to change your payment schedule again.
- The form turns off at the End of Winter Quarter.
